Feb. 16, 1855. m. in Nov. 1792, Ruth Richardson b. in Pasquotank, Co., N. C., July 24, 1775; d. at Paddy's Run, Sept. 30, 1841, dau. of Josiah and Ruth Richardson of Pasquotank Co. ..."--P. 97. Ruben Holstead "... b. probably in Currituck Co., N. C. about 1775; d. near Riley, Vigo Co., Ind., just prior to Dec. 16, 1853; m. in North Carolina probably about 1804, Elizabeth (Preston) Pearce b. in North Carolina, presumably, about 1772; d. near Riley, Ind., about 1845 ..."--P. 105. Their relatives and descendants lived in Ohio, Indiana, Florida, New York, California, Washington D. C., Texas, North Dakota, Illinois, Michigan, Canada and elsewhere.
