T.p. ornament. A criticism of John Quincy Adams' 1821 Fourth of July oration. Attributed by NUC and Shoemaker to Jacob Bailey Moore. But Sabin attributes it to Levi Woodbury in his revised entry 105102. In a pamphlet entitled The principles and acts of Mr. Adams' administration vindicated by J.B. Moore (Concord, N.H., 1828), this oration is also cited in a footnote on p. 31, as Woodbury's vindication of Mr. Adam's oration. |
