Summary: Depicts the exteriors of Girard college's main building, new dormitories, and chapel as well as the site at 18th and Passyunk before demolition. Portrays student activities throughout the day with views of showering, ironing, shining shoes, dining, dishwashing, bedmaking, prayer and cleanup duties. Shows discussion groups, use of the library, the school newspaper, work in the school foundry and machine shop, farming beans, and chemistry and draftsmanship classes. Depicts cadets during Founders Day ceremonies, and as they are inspected by WAACs. Includes a view of the Valley Forge Military Rifle Team. Contains images of a soda drinking contest, pie eating contest, turtle race, and students fencing, playing zelball, and swimming in the pool. Depicts the interior of the infirmary and the school dentist. Highlights the statue of Girard.
