Summary: Documents deterioration of several Philadelphia parks, namely Westmoreland Square, and Fotterall Square. Depicts park area at Queen Lane, 17th and Courtland, and 21st and Lehigh Streets. Shows Penn Square before City Hall was built, Fairmount Park near the Girard Avenue Bridge, and Eakins Oval and the Parkway in the snow. Illustrates a relic in Ryers Mansion at Burholme Park as well as scenes in Aramingo Square, Baker Square, Disston Park, Fisher Park, Howell Park and Howell Home, Jefferson Square, Penn Treaty Park and Reyburn Park (at 22nd and Lehigh). Portrays a 4th of July pageant at Kenilworth Meadows, WPA landscaping at Powers Park, and the Germantown May Market at Vernon Park. Highlights the summer day camp at Pennypack Park with views of the bathing beach and the first aid station. Also depicts a horse show under the Roosevelt Bridge during Pennypack Day.
