Includes views of coal terminals (especially the Greenwich Point yard near Philadelphia), the produce terminal in Philadelphia, car shops in Altoona, Pa. and Wilmington, Del., Euola Yards in Harrisburg, Pa. and grain elevators at Girard Point in South Philadelphia. Illustrates the construction of bridges and tracks, the operation of turntables, and Philadelphia piers loading freight. Highlights the process of electrifying the rails in images of construction, wiring, signals, the preparations in the control room in Harrisburg, and opening ceremonies. Emphasizes electrification of the line from Philadelphia to Harrisburg and the line to Delaware Park. Includes views documenting the history of the company, emblems and awards, and the P.R.R.
