Photographs of the liberty bell and ceremonies surrounding it. Many images show local, national, and international leaders tapping the bell, as well as crowds pledging to the bell and waving flags. Of note are images of the bell's transcontinental journey to the San Francisco Panama-Pacific International exhibition of 1915. Also depicts models of the bell. Documents World War II precautions to protect the bell with armed guards and the creation of a special bomb shelter.
