Woodcuts: title within elaborate cartouche, featuring the English royal coat of arms, encircled with motto of the Order of the Garter ("Honi soit qui mal y pense"), and clusters of fruit and leaves, within a full-page landscape of trees, flowers, and a large beehive swarming with bees; device on p. 348, encircled with motto "Veritas filia temporis," featuring Time, an old man with wings on his back and an hourglass in his hand, leading his daughter Truth out of the earth, towards the light; large ornamental initials; head- and-tail-pieces; includes 17 full-page genealogical trees, identifying family relationships among kings and nobles of France, England, Portugal, and Italy.
