Item Description:	Signatures: [A]² B-C⁶ D⁴. Title vignette. The Anatomy is the only other illustration. Two states noted. In state 1, p. [19] contains "Table of the sovereigns of Europe in 1829," p. 29-30 contain "Drinking cold water," and the advertisement on p. [36] ends with the paragraph entitled "Slates." In state 2, p. 19 is numbered and contains anecdotes, followed by variant prose contents through p. 30. The advertisement on p. [36] includes typographical changes and ends with the separate line "Rags purchased." Pages [35-36] contain publisher's and paper manufacturer's advertisements by Bennett & Walton.
