Summary: This collection is comprised of two boxes of material related to mass transit and transportation in Pennsylvania, and specifically in and around Philadelphia. The first boxes contains SEPTA (Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority) transit schedules for its buses, trolleys, subways, and regional rail lines. The schedules are grouped according to system, arranged numerically or alphabetically within each group, and then arranged by date, as schedules were often revised and updated. Also in this box are notices and informational brochures, notices, and pamphlets that SEPTA provided for its riders. This material dates primarily from the the early 1980s to the early 1990s. The second box contains maps of Pennsylvania; maps of and relating to Philadelphia; maps of Pennsylvania counties: Allegheny, Bucks, Chester, and Delaware; a Philadelphia handbook (1972) and miscellaneous pamphlets; miscellaneous SEPTA newsletters; and formal reports on local mass transit and transportation, including "An Overview of the I-95 Draft Environmental Impact Statement" from the 1980s.
