Summary: |
Msgr. Juras was born in Siauliai, Lithuania and came to the United States in 1912, eventually settling in Lawrence, Massachusetts. The collection contains scrapbooks and printed materials relating to Lithuanian Americans and to Juras's activities as founder of the American Lithuanian Kultural Archives.
Addendum, raf 07/05/05: This addition consists of a postcard book, probably sold at the American Lithuanian Kultural Archives that Juras founded. It appears to be printed in Lithuania and contains color illustrations of crests of forty locales in Lithuania. |
