Includes a portrait of founding father, Nicolae Magdin, and other founding members of both the society and Philadelphia's first Romanian Orthodox parish, Descent of the Holy Spirit, including its first permanent priest, Fr. John Popovici, who served from 1929 to 1965 in Northern Liberties and afterwards in Elkins Park until 1968. |
