Preached chiefly with a view of the explaining the importance of the Protestant cause, in which the British colonies; and the advancement of religion, patriotism and military virtue. Among which are a discourse on adversity; and also a discourse on planting the sciences, and the propagation of Christianity, in the untutored parts of the earth.
