Rev. Dr. Robert S. Stoudt is the author of The Original German Roots of Selected Staudt--Stoudt--Stout Families of Pennsylvania (2023). This donation is comprised of the book and Stoudt's research files for it. The files contain web print-outs, various typed documents, and photocopies, notable among which are those from original German church books that trace the family back to the 1500s through baptism, marriage, and death records. Most of the collection is arranged by the three parishes -- Kusel, Konken, and Wolfersweiler -- in the Palatine and Saarland regions of Germany, where Stoudt conducted much of his research. There are also extensive papers on Staudt--Stoudt--Stout immigrants to Pennsylvania and family line summaries and compilations. |
