Summary: |
This collection consists of four pieces of art by artist Nell Irvin Painter. The first item is a hand-colored lino print, ink on Bristol vellum, titled "Arrived New Names 2." With imagery taken from the surface of a Portuguese melon, it was inspired by Underground Railroad Journal C by William Still (HSP PAS papers #490/Treasures collection). The other three items in the collection are a trio of prints - etchings and silkscreen on paper - titled "William Still Triptytch, 2022," which were published by the Brodsky Center at PAFA, Philadelphia. Each print measures 27 5/8 by 22 1/3 inches. |
