Summary: This is an extensive collection of menu cards, most from 1909 and 1910, representing dinners and parties at a variety of places and commemorating numerous events. The Beaths' involvement in clubs and organizations is well represented. Programs of events are also included in one box, including a printed address of Abraham Lincoln's passed out at an event in 1860. Col. Robert B. Beath was a Civil War veteran and an active member of the Grand Army of the Republic (George Meade, Post No.1). Most of the menus document his participation in clubs and attendance at parties.
