Summary: Photographs of Francis Fisher Kane.  Kane was a lawyer based out of Philadelphia in the late 1800s and early 1900s.  In 1890, Kane was a candidate for the Pennsylvania State House of Representatives (1890), candidate for Mayor of Philadelphia (1903), the first U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania (1913-1919), President of the Pennsylvania Prison Society, founding member of the Voluntary Defender Association (1934), and winner of the Philadelphia Award.
