Benjamin West drawings and sketches circa 1790-1807
Sketches are mostly in pencil. A few are done partly in ink and a few are colored. Volume has been disbound and is matted, mylared, and foldered. These sketches, which are almost all portraits, may have been done in preparation for larger works or paintings.
