The volumes also contain additional miscellanea of Vaughan as Brazilian Vice Consul, 1830-1836, as well as one page of entries relating to the Brazilian Consulate and a letter from the New York Brazilian legation to Edward S. Sayres, Brazilian Vice Consul at Philadelphia, dated August 13, 1866. The contents of the letter describe immigration instructions.
