Summary: The Voice of the Lithuanian Community radio program was started briefly in 1949 and restarted in 1951. It was produced by the Lithuanian-American Community of U.S.A., Philadelphia Chapter, and aired on WTEL. As of 1992, it was still being produced. The program included news of Lithuania and of the local Lithuanian community, as well as Lithuanian music. Julia Danta joined the program in 1986 director and was one of its twelve broadcasters. The collection includes audio tapes (both open reel and cassette), phonograph records, correspondence, program logs, and other items.
