There are ten French postcards, sent to the family from abroad during World War I. Most of the postcards are unused, however, several were written to various members of the Armstrong family in Carlisle, PA, including Mary Ann and Wilson Armstrong and Kathryn (nee Caufman) and Nelson Armstrong. The postcards from France were sent by Guy Armstrong, who served overseas during World War I.
