Paul Busti journal
Paul Busti, an Italian immigrant, came to Philadelphia in 1799 as an agent of one of the great developers of the American wilderness and purchased some land. Busti's farm was called "Blockley Retreat" and was located at what is now 44th Street and Haverford Avenue.
