Summary: Duane Minard represented the State of New Jersey in its 1931 lawsuit against the State of New York. The purpose of the case was to prevent the latter from diverting water from the Delaware River and the Delaware River Watershed in order to supply water to New York City. The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania entered the suit as an intervener. Although New Jersey's claims were denied, the amount of water New York could divert was restricted. This typescript refers to the documents used as exhibits in this case. The first part of the typescript lists the pages and numbers of documents referred to in "The List of Exhibits, Volume 2, The Delaware Boundary Case." The second section lists and describes a number of documents related to this case, including 17th and 18th century letters, grants, maps, and deeds, as well as photographs.
