It is a national fraternal organization. 1981-010 includes records of Assembly 57 (Mahanoy City, Pa.), Assembly 58 (St. Peter and Paul Assembly, Peckville, Pa.), Assembly 294 (Beacon, NY), Assembly 356 (Monongah, W.V.); Assembly 418 (Akron, Ohio), Assembly 738 (Flint, Mich.), National Records, unidentified lodges, and Youth Assembly 272 (Akron, Ohio). 1991-075 contains records of Chester, Pennslyvania's Youth Group 91 and Assembly 122, Pittsburgh's Assembly 170, Philadelphia's Assemblies 238, 211, 305, 768, and Youth Assembly 158; including constitution and bylaws, minutes, correspondence, financial and membership records, death claims, convention reports, instructions for local chapters, and other items. There are also printed materials and a District 3 account book. 1996-060 is a $500 death benefit certificate for Anna Sokolovsky of Assembly 518. The item without an accession number is a large cut-out frame holding 63 portraits of Branch 211, August 1895. Addendum, raf 07/14/05: These additions consist of three printed sheets, richly illustrated in color, from the post-WWI era that were likely given out as promotional items. There are two posters that celebrate the formation of Czechoslovakia and one that proclaims “This family of this home is protected by the National Slovak Society…” Items are in English, and presumably, Slovak.
