The group met monthly (except for July and August) at various locales throughout the city to discuss Dickens's works, as well as partcipate in arranged meals and activities, such as field trips. The group's membership has since evolved to include women. The Fellowship promotes local charitable ventures and has been host to several North American conferences. This donation of Dickens Fellowship Philadelphia Branch records covers 100 years of the group's history and consists of printed material, membership lists, council meeting minutes, newspaper clippings, bulletins, meeting announcements, and photographs.
