They settled in Philadelphia, were married in 1917, and had two children, Bertha and Samuel, who attended Olney High School in Philadelphia. Samuel Karavin received a B.S. from Temple University in 1949. The collection includes official documents, correspondence, photographs, printed materials, posters, and other items documenting the lives of the family members and Jewish cultural and religious concerns.
