During his more than forty years on the road, Simpson worked for a variety of businesses, including the Allen S. Olmstead Company, the O. F. Woodward Company, the Guarantee Medicine Company, and the Dr. Miles Medicine Company. This collection contains his forty-four journals, 1905-1948, twenty-nine expense accounts, 1917-1947, and miscellaneous items, all of which touch on both his professional and personal life.
