The papers include correspondence, 1784-1885, some of which is in French; a Nuremburg, Germany almanac, 1690, with many contemporary annotations in German script; naturalization certificate and sketch book of Anthony Beelen, begun in 1794 in Pittsburgh, as well as several other miscellaneous notebooks in German, French, and Latin; a typescript biography of Milnora de Beelen Roberts of Seattle, Wash., as well as other family notes.
