Preserver: [none] (pre-1847). Mat: Octagonal with pebble finish (1839-mid 40s). Case: Leather-covered wood-frame embossed with a floral design on the front only, with a matching purple velvet pinchpad and purple velvet cushion embossed with the photographer's advertisement (ca. 1850). |
