Wallace's work focused on copy work of art and artifacts; commercial work, including construction projects; architectural decorative details from the past; and a wide array of buildings, individuals, residences and scenes of the Philadelphia area. Originally there were approximately 3000 negatives in the collection. In 1994, approximately 1177 images were duplicated due to the deteriorating condition of the negatives (under a grant from the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts); another 500 were deferred for duplication and possibly may be located on the 4th floor in what used to be the conservation lab. The remaining negatives may have been disposed of due to their deteriorating condition, although this is uncertain. | ||
